The Role of Local Culture in the existence of local accommodation entrepreneurs In Nusa Penida Island

The research objective is to determine the role of local cultural values in the existence of local accommodation entrepreneurs in  Nusa Penida Island, considering that there are still many entrepreneurs who have not included cultural variables in the sustainability of the accommodation business. The high number of accommodation businesses will create competition among entrepreneurs. At present competition occurs within the local community only because 99 percent of entrepreneurs come from the island of Nusa Penida. In the future, it is also important to pay attention when foreign entrepreneurs build accommodation businesses on Nusa Penida Island. Currently accommodation entrepreneurs only apply modern business practices which only focus on revenue orineted. Some of the issues that will be raised in this study are 1.) Motivation of local entrepreneurs in the provision of accommodation, 2. The Role of Local Cultural Values on the existence of community empowerment and the third. Find a model of accommodation for entrepreneurs based on local Balinese cultural values on Nusa Penida Island.
