Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious respiratory disease caused by coronavirus and a global health problem. The case began with information from the World Health Organization (WHO) on December 31, 2019 that mentioned a case of pneumonia cluster with unclear etiology in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. This case continues to grow until there are reports of deaths and imports occur outside of China. Based on scientific evidence, COVID-19 can be transmitted from human to human through coughing / sneezing (droplet), not through the air. The people most at risk of contracting this disease are people who are in close contact with COVID-19 patients, including those who treat COVID-19 patients. Standard recommendations for preventing the spread of infection are through regular hand washing using soap and clean water, applying the ethics of coughing and sneezing, avoiding direct contact with livestock and wild animals and avoiding close contact with anyone who shows symptoms of respiratory illnesses such as coughing and sneezing. In addition, the readiness of health workers, especially nurses both physically, mentally and emotionally needs attention. This study aims to find out the description of nurses' readiness in treating COVID-19 patients in Bali. Participants in this study were all nurses in hospitals and health centers in Bali.
