Sociology of Balinese Society "Bali Past and Present"

For several decades after the introduction of Bali as the last paradise for travelers, accommodation as a support for travelers' needs began to grow and develop uncontrollably. This is supported by New Order era development policies that prioritize economic development, this New Order-style development strategy has an impact on the governance of Bali's development. This is evident in the form of mass tourism and exploitation. Massive in a relatively fast time causing new anxiety. Bali's change from an agrarian into a tourism industry at least has an impact on the changing character of the Balinese people. Social change in Balinese society not only took place quickly but also had very broad dimensions regarding various fields of life that were related to one another. The method used in this research is literature study by searching various related literature about Bali to be able to map the social and cultural changes of Bali. This research takes the title of Sociology of Balinese Society "Bali Past and Present"
