Funding period : 2019- Active
Abstrak
The foreign policy that is being developed by the
government in order to enhance number of tourists coming to Indonesia seems to
be a cause of pros and cons from various circles. The amount of foreign
exchange generated through the tourism sector is indeed amazing seeing
government as a solution to improve our economy in the current era of
globalization. The high level of competition between states has caused
Indonesia to start thinking about how to enhance the number of tourists coming
to Indonesia. Bali in particular as a tourism area become an area that is so
encouraged to be able to continue enhance the number of tourists every year. But
the question is whether government is able to boost the economy in this sector
without seeing various effects that can appear, one of them is number of
tourists that is increasing in quantity but not in quality of the tourists also
their purchasing power in this state. Another thing is that many tourists come
from China. In terms of language, our society must adapt to their language to be
able to treat tourists who come. Practically, lots of tour guides being brought
to Bali came from outside of Bali, therefore this causes concern for local
Balinese who feel unrivaled. From this research, researchers will conduct a
study on whether this policy will eliminate or preserve the values of existing
local wisdom to the welfare of the local society and whether there is a role
that can be done by government to protect the local society along with their
values so that they can keep on preserving the local wisdom
as one appeal of the Island of the Gods.
