Abstrak
The building valuation process will be closely related to the assessment indicators used as green building measurement instruments. The question arises how the standard of green building evaluation in vernacular buildings in Bali Aga Village? In the validity of green building appraisal standards which are generally compiled by modern societies with advanced living arrangements, there are no varied geographical, economic, social, and cultural diversity of the community as well as architectural typologies of the building. By evaluating the similarities and differences between green building practices on the dominant aspects measured to determine the level of greenness including: the selection and management of sites, energy, material, water, waste and the quality of interior space.
In this research, green building evaluation indicators will be formulated based on vernacular building conditions in Bali Aga Tenganan Village. With the formulation of these indicators so that an assessment of the extent to which green building standards can be applied to the vernacular buildings. The results of this study can be used as instruments assessing the index of green buildings in vernacular or traditional buildings throughout Indonesia.
