Preservation of Batik's type through Classification based on Deep Learning

Batik is one of Indonesia's cultural heritage that has been recognized by UNESCO. Batik is made by painting or stamping unique motifs on the fabric. There are many types of Indonesian batik motifs that describe their original location. Preserving batik is an obligation so that this heritage is not extinct. For this reason, it is necessary to preserve batik, one of which is to involve digital techniques.

This research is focused on developing a system that is able to classify batik types based on Deep Learning. The system built is expected to facilitate the introduction of batik for the community, bridge the introduction of batik with the involvement of information technology, and enrich the production of a batik motif in the future with the convenience offered.
