Abstrak

Judging from the geographical conditions of the area, Penatahan Village is included in the Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. This village is a highland area with an altitude of +350 m above sea level. The climate condition in Penatahan Village is not much different from other villages in Penebel District. Penatahan Village has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 25o Celsius and a maximum of 32o Celsius, with an average humidity above 80%. The lowest rainfall is 2,800 mm and the highest is 3,293 mm. This data is obtained based on the ratio with other villages in the Penatahan Village environment. The agricultural sector, especially wetland agriculture, is still the main foundation for the people of Penatahan Village. The cropping pattern applied to wetland agriculture is rice and secondary crops, but in general the community prefers to plant rice more frequently and prefers to plant rice, while secondary crops are adapted to the season and needs. Dry land agriculture which is included in the plantation and horticultural sub-sector is in the moor and house yards. Generally it produces coffee, coconut, durian, mango, rambutan, and other local fruits and vegetables, in addition to planting flowers that are used for religious ceremonies. The existence of the tourism sector in Penatahan Village is growing. The mainstay tourist locations in Penatahan Village are Penatahan Hot Springs and Bali Silent Retreat. Penatahan Hot Water is located on an area of ​​2.1 hectares, where this tourist attraction area has complete facilities such as ample parking lots, restaurants, cafeteria and resorts as places to stay, and is surrounded by neatly arranged gardens, so that This hot spring bath is quite special and must be visited. Bali Silent Retreat is a stand-alone environmental sanctuary with restorative and inspirational programs and events. Surrounded by protected UNESCO-protected rice fields, forests, healing hot springs, and Mount Batukaru, it is perfect to soothe the body and soul and reconnect with deep peace and silence. Currently, Penatahan Village is preparing to become a Tourism Village. With the existing tourist attraction has begun to be visited by tourists, both domestic and foreign tourists. With this uniqueness, Penatahan Village has the opportunity to be developed as a Tourism Village in Tabanan Regency. The mainstay tourism potential of Penatahan Village requires packaging, management, creativity, and innovation from the people of Penatahan Village itself. In addition to providing a variety of products and tourist attractions by packaging them into attractive and attractive tour packages, there is also a need for opinions or perceptions of the people of Penatahan Village regarding the development of Penatahan Village as a tourist village in Tabanan Regency, so that in planning its development as a tourism village it will receive support from the community. and involve the people of Penatahan Village in its development and management, so that increasing community income, preserving nature and social / culture, creating local employment opportunities, and reducing unemployment can be realized. A qualitative approach with a combination of Focus Group Discussion (FGD), SWOT Matrix, and Likert Scale Analysis will find various opinions or perceptions of the Penatahan community regarding the development of Penatahan Village as a tourist village in Penebel District, Tabanan Regency. The results of the data analysis will be displayed in a qualitative descriptive manner which presents people's opinions / perceptions, the results of observations, theories, and concepts found in the field based on the informants' point of view which are then interpreted by the Research Team.
