Every sick child
who needs hospitalization at a hospital is at risk of experiencing it
malnutrition during treatment. This condition is caused due to illness in
children inflammatory process that causes anorexia so that nutrient intake
decreases catabolism that causes increased nutritional needs. Malnutrition
incident already appear within 7 days of treatment. Several screening methods
have been developed for identify the risk of malnutrition in the hospital. One
such method is STRONGkids is a method of screening for malnutrition risk based
on clinical conditions and diagnosis of disease. This study aims to prove
whether the combination between STRONGkids method with serum CRP levels (as a
marker of inflammation) can be identify the risk of malnutrition better in
hospitalized sick children. Design research used to prove hypotheses is a
prospective cohort
