APPLICATION OF MULTIMODAL BIOMETRIC SYSTEM IN HANDLING SECURITY MOBILE APPLICATION BASED ON SOUND BIOMETRICS AND FACE IMAGES

Abstrak
Utilization of mobile applications at this time so much has been applied
in various fields. The use of smartphones in online transactions is quite a lot
desirable by business people because it provides convenience in transactions.
Through mobile applications, business people can process transactions anywhere
and whenever.
One aspect of security regarding authentication is an important concern
for transactors who use mobile devices. All this time
authentication is mostly done by simply utilizing password security,
which is still quite easily breached security. More authentication level
both can be done by utilizing biometrics technology into the system
existing security. There are still many studies that have been done
using a unimodal biometrics system to be able to provide guarantees
good authentication.
After seeing the weaknesses of unimodal authentication, the writer will do
research that can improve on existing authentication models, by applying
multimodal biometrics authentication based on voice and face imagery. In
voice biometrics authentication will use the MFCC (Mel Frequency method)
Cepstrum Coefficients) and DTW (Dynamic Time Warping), while for
face image verification will apply the PCA (Principle Component) method
Analysys). The author hopes the results of this study can form a security system
with better authentication, so only the actors have it
only authority, which can carry out transactions electronically through a device
their mobile / smartphone.
