Abstrak

Environmental pollution caused by waste is a specific problem in several tourist destinations in the Province of Bali. Lately on the beaches of Kuta, Sanur, Padanggalak, Biaung and its surroundings are very disturbed by the cleanliness of the environment. On Kuta beach, it is attacked by garbage due to the west wind. The amount of volume reaches tens of tons per day. (Indrawan, 2014; Parwata, 2017). On the coast of Padanggalak and Biaung also experienced the same situation, because the garbage comes from the Ayung river continuously. The phenomenon that pollutes the beach needs to get serious and sustainable treatment. One of them is by innovating the manufacture of particle panel boards based on beach waste. This innovation aims to reduce beach waste, and create environmentally friendly building materials and create community-based employment. This material was tested for its strength with four variants of the composition of a mixture of 1 cement: 1 lime mill: 3 pumice and 2 wood particles. The second component with a ratio of 3 parts to wood particles, the third component to the ratio of 4 parts to wood particles and the fifth component to the ratio of 5 parts to wood particles. The results of laboratory tests at FT Udayana with 10 repetitions then it is known that more and more wood particles physical and mechanical properties decrease. Specifically in this experiment it was known that all the components of the panel board made had a mass weight below 2000 kg / m3. (including lightweight concrete). It has fulfilled SNI 03-2105-2006 series standards regarding density, compressive strength, linear and thick development and screw tensile strength. Whereas the strength of a Broken Firmness or Modulus of Rupture (MOR), Flexural Strength or Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) is of little value (not meeting expected standards). This material is hygroscopic.
