Abstrak
Microsatellite-based BoLA (Bovine Leukocyte) gene mapping is very valuable in the selection process and can provide important information on diversity and kinship relationships within a population. The high polymorphism of microsatellite is a good molecular marker for population genetic studies. The nature of this high polymorphism causes different variations in expression in each individual. The BoLA gene is a gene that plays an important role in the dynamic expression of the body of each individual cow. The degree of resistance of cattle populations to disease is often associated with genetic polymorphisms of the BoLA gene. This study aims to reveal the genetic diversity and kinship relationship of Bali Cows and White Cattle Taro using the DNA microsatellite BoLA gene approach. Relationship between Bali Cows and White Taro Cows will be analyzed using a phylogenetic tree diagram (Dendogaram). The result of genetic tree analysis (dendogram) shows that Bali cattle and white Taro cattle are grouped in different clusters. There is not a single Taro white cow in the Bali cattle cluster, while there are several genes of Bali cattle in the Taro white cow cluster.
