THE ROLE OF LECTURER TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP IN THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UNIVERSITY OF UDAYANA

Abstrak
The success of an organization is basically supported by effective leadership, where the leadership style can influence subordinates to generate work spirit to be able to create the performance expected by the organization. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of lecturer transformational leadership in student learning activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. The study design is quantitative descriptive, that is research conducted to answer and discuss situational conditions that occur, so that the results of research are based on data and can be accounted for. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University in the 2015 period. The object of the research was entrepreneurship, especially the transformational leadership of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. The findings show that the transformational leadership style of lecturers in the learning process for students at FEB-Unud is considered to be quite instrumental, because respondents' perceptions of all statement items are in the "good" category. Found three measurement indicators that have a dominant role in influencing the transformational leadership style of lecturers, namely lecturer discipline in teaching, the ability to give a new perspective, the ability to stimulate student creativity during the teaching and learning process. The implication of the results of the study is to provide an overview of the teaching standards of lecturers, so that the learning atmosphere in FEB. Unud is going well.
