THE IMPACT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION ON ENTREPRENEUR BEHAVIOR INDEX (EBI) AND BUSINESS INTENTIONS THE STUDENTS OF FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESSES OF UDAYANA UNIVERSITY IN DENPASAR

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions, the impact of entrepreneurship education on EBI, the impact of EBI on entrepreneurial intentions and the role of EBI as a mediator of the impact between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intentions. The study was conducted on students of the Regular S1 Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University who have graduated from entrepreneurship courses in the past three semesters. The unit of analysis is an individual sample with a sample size of 200 respondents and is divided into three study programs proportionately. The analysis technique uses SEM analysis based on AMOS. The analysis found that entrepreneurship education had a significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurship education had a significant impact on EBI, EBI had a significant impact on entrepreneurial intentions, and EBI had a significant role in partially mediating the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions. This condition means that growing and developing entrepreneurial intentions of university graduates, can be done through the development of entrepreneurship education curricula, but such education does not have to be fully burdened with increasing the values of individual characters (EBI).
