Funding period : 2016- Deactivate
Abstrak
This study investigates the ecopreneurship business model adopted by five-star international chain hotels in the Nusa Dua Resort area to integrate environmental elements into tourism operations. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, with ISO 14001 standards applied as indicators. The analysis revealed four phases of the ecopreneurship model aligned with the PDCA cycle: (1) Plan—environmental management planning; (2) Do—implementation of eco-labeling and recycling; (3) Check—environmental audits and performance evaluations; and (4) Action—periodic management reviews.
This research contributes by contextualizing the PDCA cycle into a practical ecopreneurship model for the hospitality sector, offering novel insights into how luxury hotels in Bali operationalize sustainability through structured environmental management practices.
