Abstrak
The first step in this study we identify the potential plants for the purposes of functional food and standardized herbal medicine for anti-aging, anti inflammatory, prevention of cancer, and aphrodisiac. Selected plants then were analyzed by using unique primer for PCR analyses and DNA sequencing to the unique species of that plants. The plants should be unique species or unique variety of Bali or can be said that plants were origin Bali. After DNA sequencing of the amplified DNA fragment then we compare it in the Gene Bank and then the phylogenetic trees were made. From this results we know which species or variety of plants were unique in Bali.
These plants or fruits, leave, or other part of the plants were extracted by using various solvents. The extracts were then analysed using GC-MS, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), AAS, and other analyses. These analyses conducted to identify the active compounds contain in the plants and their function. The extracts were then freeze drying in making powder for the formulation to be a cream, lotion, or serum, and some were formulated become capsules, scrub, and others. The production process is based on zero waste products so that all are utilized as there a tea, salt, nori (Japanese nori from sea weed).
We have collaborated with a pharmaceutical company for mass production and marketing.
