Technical Management of Irrigation System of Subak in Bali.

To explain about how subak system in Bali managing the irrigation water. Because, subak is very famous in the world as a irrigation system that could manage the irrigation efficiently and effectively.  So we need to elaborate about how subak in Bali managing the irrigation water.  In Subak implemented tektek system,  where irrigation is divided based on proportional system. Water is distributed based on number of rice field to be managed by a farmer ( a member of subak). Another system that implemented at subak is water borrowing system. If needed, farmer could borrow irrigation from another farmer in one subak. Also one subak could borrow irrigation from another subak in one river.  That is why we could see the paddy green in Bali from the hill until to the beach, although in the dry session.

Until now we still work in this project, especially to write down the book from those research result in Bahasa Indonesia and also in English. We hope the book in English will be finish this year (2020).
