Abstrak

The development of the medical world in finding antibiotic drugs has been slowed down by the emergence of bacterial resistance to various antibiotics. The availability of accurate and complete data on patterns of bacterial resistance to antibiotics is not widely available in health care facilities. Processing data on patterns of bacterial resistance to antibiotics is very important for clinicians in providing treatment to patients. Information technology in the digital era can also be utilized in managing data information in health care settings such as doctors' practices, clinics, health centers or hospitals. The digitization system that is very important and needs to be developed is the management of data on antibiotic resistance patterns in health care settings that are easy to use. One of the methods used is a reporting application via an Android-based smartphone. The presence of an Android-based smartphone application as a technology product is expected to assist in accessing information or data on patterns of antibiotic resistance in health care settings. The purpose of this research is to develop an Integrated Digital-Base Antimicrobial Surveillance System (IDASS) Mobile Application that can be used by clinicians or medical and paramedical personnel who serve patients in health care facilities in an effort to rationalize the use of antibiotics. The Integrated Digital-base Antimicrobial Surveillance System (IDASS) is used to process data on patterns of antibiotic resistance in health care settings based on data entered by users and based on health service location points. How to access it using a mobile device. By applying IDASS technology, patterns of antibiotic resistance in health care settings can be processed, analyzed, displayed and reported. So that it makes it easier for clinicians, namely doctors who treat patients, leaders of health care facilities and authorities in controlling and making future policies regarding the rational use of antibiotics. This application provides an application system that is more concise, easier and faster to use with standardized automation and standardization, so that in the future it can have a significant impact on the medical world, especially in fighting bacterial resistance to antibiotics.
