DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF AN INTEGRATED TRAVEL HEALTH SURVEILLANCE AND INFORMATION SYSTEM AT DESTINATIONS

Abstrak

We aim to develop a system for travel health providers and initiate the development of a travel health network in Bali involving private and public travel medicine centres, as well as district and provincial health offices. The output of the current year will be a travel health surveillance system incorporating the mobile web and apps that are previously develop for travellers with the information system that will be develop for travel health providers. The output variables for analysis will be serial trends for travel-related diseases and accidents data in the implementation area, serial trends for apps usage by travellers, and crowd-sourced data analysis from the system, as well as evaluation of the efficacy of the system.
