An Integrated Performing Arts Management Information System Based on Crowd Sourcing

Bali is one of the famous tourist destinations, related to arts, culture, and tourism. The high number of tourists visiting Bali advances tourism especially on transportation and accommodation sectors. However, the art performance sector, on the other hand, is not positively influenced. The difficulty in accessing art performance information is the main reason for the problem. In this research, an integrated system is proposed to facilitate art performance organizers and tourists. The platform provides effortless access to information regarding Balinese cultural performances. All cultural artifacts related to performance art are also well documented. The main features of the platform include art performance encyclopedia, booking and payment system, as well as a site map to navigate tourists to the location. The platform is expected to become a forum for organizers of Balinese cultural arts performances while providing convenience for tourists and facilitates the organizers in managing the performances independently. With the introduction of the platform, complete and practical access to Balinese culture and tourism information can be provided.
