The Effect of the Electric Field in the Making of Chitosan Membranes on the Physical Properties of the Membrane

In the context of achieving the 2017-2021 Udayana University Research Plan (RIP) especially in the material superior fields namely Materials, Energy, and Environment, so research of the influence of the electric field in the process of making chitosan membranes on the physical properties of the membrane is conducted. This research is in accordance with Advanced Material research, which is a strategic material supporting technology products, which is focused on developing structural materials derived from natural sources. Likewise, this research is very important because the synthetic polymer-based membrane is a material that has the potential to be developed and applied in various industries, especially biomaterials for medical. This is one area of focus on the road map.
