BIODIVERSITY OF DRAGON FLIES IN PETULU VILLAGE, UBUD DISTRICT, BALI

Abstrak

The research on "Dragonfly Biodiversity in Petulu Village, Ubud District, Bali" will be carried out in 2020. The research objective is to find out the types of dragonflies and biodiversity or dragonfly diversity found in Petulu Village, Ubud District, Bali Province. Samples will be  taken at several points representing different habitats, such as rice fields, settlements, and forests (if any). Dragonflies found in the field (if possible) will be captured with an insect net and taken to a laboratory in the Department of Biology, Faculty of MIPA, Udayana University to identify the species. The observations will be matched with guidelines such as Wahyu Sigit Rhd (2013), Lilies S. (1992), and others. Dragonfly data will be recorded in the form of types and amounts, then the results are displayed in a table. Data submitted includes status (protected or not), description of species (if any), and others. The biodiversity index is calculated by the Shannon Wiener index.
