EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION MODELS TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF LIVESTOCK COOPERATIVES IN THE PROVINCE OF BALI

In the Province of Bali there are seven livestock cooperatives.  The development of livestock cooperatives should be the main priority and objective.  Currently the livestock cooperative has not been proven to be able to prosper its members.  This research was conducted in Juni to December 2020 with the aim to find out: (1) The communication process and the communication intensity of livestock cooperatives, (2) Analyzing the factors that influence the performance of livestock cooperatives and, (3) Obtaining an effective communication model to improve the performance of livestock cooperatives in the Province of Bali.  Research locations are in Jembrana, Tabanan, Badung, and Karangasem district using the purposive sampling method.  Responden in this study were 112 people consisting of 21 respondent managing livestock cooperatives, and 91 cooperative members.  The data collection method was carried out by interview using a structured questionnaire.  Data analysis uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS).
