Growth Patterns of White Taro Cattle in Conservation Management

Abstrak
White Taro Cattle is a source of native and national genetic riches of Bali which has been conserved by the Taro Indigenous Village community. At this time the population Taro white cows are only around 57. Based on "Preservation Guidelines and Utilization of AnGR ”, with such a population of white cattle Taro already included in the critical population because it needs conservation efforts to be able to guarded overall genetic resources. Research titled Growth Patterns White Taro Cattle with Conservation Management will be carried out with the aim to find out the growth patterns of white Taro cattle that are kept with conservation management. The research will be carried out in Banjar Taro Kaja, Village Taro Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency. Research will be carried out by weighing and measuring the body dimensions of all populations Taro white cattle periodically (once every two weeks) for 4 months will get a picture of the growth pattern of the white Taro cow. Body dimensions to be measured are Body Length, Chest Circumference, Height, Height
Hips, Inside Chest, Chest Width, Hip Width and Canon Bone Linkary. From measurement results will be analyzed to find the relationship of each dimension the body with the body weight of the weighing results. Growth patterns area description of the growth of the white cattle Taro and is a picture of potential Taro white cattle production which has no data up to date.
