Abstrak
The counseling service report at the Kerobokan Prison obtained from the Social Division of the Udayana University Psychology Study Program found that 73 clients (in 2018) experienced psychological complaints which then impacted on their physical health. As many as 69 of the total 103 cases that exist are the effects of drug abuse that makes delusions and hallucinations and depressive symptoms that cause excessive fear, sleep disturbance, insecurity, guilt, emotional disturbances, suspicion until the desire to commit suicide. Adjustment issues such as stress, anxiety, anger management problems, social difficulties and psychosomatic data were recorded in 28 cases. Based on this, psychological support and treatment for fostered citizens is needed. The psychological well-being of the fostered citizens, if they are cared for and improved, will not only provide optimal psychic conditions during their days in prison, but also improve their ability to return to the community and not repeat the behaviors that lead to imprisonment. Transpersonal Psychology Approach is an approach that sees the whole human self both the light side and the dark side of a person. Understanding humans as a whole and seeing self-connection with the greater power or spiritual side of a person, makes yourself more receptive without judgment so that it can optimize the psychological condition that affects all aspects of one's life.
This study aims to examine the psychological dynamics of fostered citizens in prisons, by providing psychological treatment with transpersonal psychotherapy with the PSIT (Psycho-Spiritual Integrative Therapy) approach, where fostered citizens will be trained to increase individual awareness in all activities carried out so as to increase positive thoughts , gratitude, develop an attitude of acceptance, bring insight, forgive oneself, and interpret every event so as to increase wisdom in behavior and become a conscious self intact in any situation and anywhere. The research method that will be used is qualitative research with a case study approach that can explore and describe psychological dynamics more deeply.
