The Level of Intra Observer Agreement in Assessing Pathology Severity Index of Renal Biopsy of Patients with Glomerulonephritis at Sanglah Hospital
Funding period : 2020- Active
Abstrak
Pathology Severity Index (PSI) that introduced by Duarsa (2018) is a scoring system to asses the severity of renal tissue damage of patients with Glomerulonephritis. In previous study, it was proven that ther were positive correlation between PSI with level of proteinuria and serum creatinine, especially in patients with Non Lupus Glomerulonephritis. This finding may give benefit as a guide for patients therapy.
PSI is a new index and is not yet used widely. Therefor, the reliability of this index must be evaluate, in this study by asses intra observer level of agreement.
The subjects included in this study are patients with glomerulonephritis who carried out renal biopsy in 2018-2019, and underwent histopathological examination at Pathology Lab of Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University/Sanglah Hospital. The specimen are histologic slide, interpreted by one pathologist (researcher), twice in different times, blindly (the result of first exam is not known while do the second).
The result of first and second interpretations than put in one table, and analysed statistically to get kappa value.
This study is on going. Now, the slide is being examined for the second time.
