High CD90 expression as predictor factor of metastasis in breast carcinoma
Funding period : 2020- Active
Abstrak
Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women. Metastasis is the leading cause of death in breast cancer. One of the intrinsic properties of cancer cells is that of stem cell-like properties that are able to renew themselves, are resistant to chemotherapy, and metastasize. CD90 is one of the stem cell markers in malignancy, including breast carcinoma. The design of this study is a case-control study, with and without metastasis. CD90 expression will also be linked to various clinicopathological factors.
