SCHOOL LITERATION ACTIVITIES AND ITS EFFECT FOR INTEREST IN READING LITERATURE IN SMAN 3 DENPASAR

One indicator of the progress of a nation globally is the existence of a society with high reading competence. 

This reading competence, for the Indonesian people is directly related to creative and innovative writing in 

various fields of science and art. This creative and innovative writing became one of the focuses studied in 

research conducted at SMAN 3 Denpasar. How is KLS (School Literacy Activity) implemented at SMAN 3 

Denpasar?

KLS at SMAN 3 Denpasar takes place effectively and optimally, supported by the supervisor teacher and the 

KLS program organized by the school. A total of 17 books (the work of students of SMAN 3) launched in 2017 

by SMAN 3 Denpasar explain how literacy culture is growing and developing well in this school.
