Abstrak

Bali is one of famous tourist destination in the world. One of the famous tourism object in Bali is Hindu temples which have become very popular to be visited. The temples in Bali have different form and ornaments based on its location. This paper unveil the uniqueness of Pura Dalem Bebetin (Dalem Bebetin Temple) in terms of its form and ornaments. Qualitative analysis applied with site observation, interview, photo and video documentation to gather all details of the form and ornaments in this temple. The result shows that the form of this temple have unique shape with the other similar type of temple in other region in Bali in term of the size, style and pattern. The ornament of this temple also expressed the unique style. The size and motifs are different compared to the famous Balinese traditional ornaments pattern (Majapahit era style). The ornaments of this temples are also demonstrated strong influences from the Netherlands and China that elaborated with local motifs and have created its own character.
