Peran Komunitas Lokal dalam Pelestarian Warisan Budaya Dunia

This study regards on examine the potential role of mass media in the Indonesia national election campaign on 2009 and to nd if there is any effect on the voter’s choice of candidate. This study used literature based method. Some data for analysis is in public domain and available online. The result of the study showed media has a potential role in campaign by providing information regarding the parties and candidates who competed in the 2009 national election for the voter preferences. Even-though the intensity of the campaigns in the mass media did not directly affect the number of votes they have got. The result of the study also showed the sociological approach used by most of Indonesian voter to determine their choice of candidate.
