ANALISIS PERUBAHAN PENGGUNAAN LAHAN DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP HASIL AIR DI DAS CISADANE HULU

Water is very important and essential for hman life. It is known that there are some factors could influence water resources, as well as the availabitiy and distribution of water. One of the main rreason why we need to manage the watershed is to find out the optimum of water quality and it distribution all over the year. The aims of this research is to determine the distribution of land use change from year of 2003 to 2010, and finally to know the final yield of water in Cisadane Hulu watershed. The research was conducted in two steps : evaluation of land use change during the period of 2003 tom 2010, and the prediction of stream flow durig that period. In this research, land use maps was supported by BIG (Badan Imformasi Geospasial) which was combined with the maps from Citra ALOS. The results showed that during the time period of 2003 to 2010, the land use change was occurred especially in the forest area . Land forest increased about 223,78 ha, settelement of about 214.78 124.92 ha. ha, and dryland and plantation 145.92 ha. Irrigated ricefield also increased of 124.92 ha. Water yield also increased with maximum flow rate of 81.73 m3/second and the value maximum is about 2,310.7 mm with the time of maximum flow was occurede in March 26, 2010. It was predicted that the increased of stream flow was basically caused by the increasing of run-off due to the development of settlement in those area.
