Abstrak
The purpose of this activities is in Mengesta Village, Penebel Sub-district, Tabanan Regency to increase the participation and active role of the community in the development of local (culinary) food products derived from ingredients from Mengesta Village, such as: cassava, taro, eel, snails, red rice, black rice, corn, various fruits, especially durian and mangosteen, as well as various specialties of Mengesta Village which are used for the purposes of Religious Ceremonies in Mengesta Village. Various kinds of culinary can be packaged, so that it lasts a long time without using synthetic preservatives and makes attractive packaging, so that it can be used as a souvenir by Mengesta Village in supporting Mengesta Village as a Tourism Village in Tabanan Regency. It can also open up new jobs for the Tista Village community and to increase the income of the local community and improve the welfare of the Mengesta Village community. Thus, agricultural activities carried out by the community can be maintained and preserved without the conversion of agricultural land in Mengesta Village and growing the local economy. In Mengesta Village, there are many accommodation facilities, restaurants and tourist activities that support tourism in Mengesta Village, such as: Tiamo Bali Villa, Tiamo Bali Restaurant, Homestay, Bali Bay Quat Adventure, Agro Tourism, Belulang Hot Springs, Village Community Cultural Activities, Beijing , Healing, and Cycling, supported by the agrarian life of Mengesta Village community, so that the tourism sector is expected to provide positive benefits to the local community, this is the consideration of Community Service Team to provide assistance to community groups can produce culinary products with attractive packaging, so that they can be presented and sold to tourists and to supply culinary needs for the industry in Mengesta Village and can also be made as a local souvenir of Mengesta Village. To be able to achieve some of these objectives, several activity plans are proposed in the implementation of the PKM Program in Mengesta Village, as follows: a) Training of food processing into various types of culinary and training in packaging various local culinary; b) Activation of the role of the Mengesta Village Business Entity; c) Program for public scrutiny through industrial homes
