Abstrak
Fishery product production needs to be supported by a good marketing so that all business actors in the fishery sector can gain a fair and maximum distribution. The most common fish production that was often caught by fishermen on the coast of Sanggalangit Village, Buleleng Regency was Anchovy. The village was chosen based on the consideration of the number of active fishermen in catching and marketing Anchovy. The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the marketing channel and also to analyze the level of efficiency of the Anchovy marketing channel in Sanggalangit Village. This research was conducted in December 2019 until January 2020 using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods by observation and interview. Interviews in this research were conducted with fishermen, marketing institutions such as traders, wholesalers and retailers. Marketing margin analysis and farmer's share are used to determine the efficiency level of marketing channels. The marketing channels discovered during the research in Sanggalangit Village were from fishermen, then to collectors, then to retailers until finally reaches consumers. The marketing margin obtained in the Anchovy marketing channel was Rp. 13.000/kg, which is Rp. 3.800/kg from the fisherman to the traders and Rp.9.200/kg from the traders to the retailers. The farmer’s share earned 56.67%. The efficiency of anchovy marketing was 15.18%, which is classified as efficient.
