Multimodal analgesia pada manajemen nyeri paska-bedah-Sebuah laporan kasus

Abstrak
Post-operative pain has known as a physiological response due to surgical dissection. A combination of various medication to achieves an optimal analgesia effect was presents as multimodal analgesia. Thus, strategy to amplify the therapeutic effect and reduce the nontherapeutic effect of analgesia each drug. Propound in regard to male, 53 years old laparotomy appendectomy, due to peri-appendicular Infiltrate. Even after a regimen of multimodal analgesia, that combined with strong opioid in post-operative pain management. But the patient had to complain about breakthrough pain on the second-day postoperative. This complaint worsens by nausea vomiting, as nontherapeutic effect after provision a rescue dose of intravenous opioid. Patients then get supplements a combination act with acupuncture as a part of the existing multimodal analgesia. Further, the combination shows an adequate synergic effect while opioid doses were tapering off.
