Sports are one of the activities which can improve the human physical and spiritual conditions. Apart from that, sports can give us pleasure. The space available is usually too narrow and the sports facilities are too limited for people to play football as they like, causing them to look for another alternative to replace it. Therefore, new innovations are needed to overcome this problem. One of the ways of overcoming it, which is getting more popular, is playing futsal. Both young and old people are fond of playing it. However, many Futsal Arenas in Bali have been built without paying attention to the Balinese architecture as the identity of the Balinese buildings. The futsal buildings in general and those which have been constructed in Singaraja in particular look rigid and modern; no Balinese architectural elements were found in the futsal arenas in Singaraja. They look less harmonious with the surrounding buildings as they do not show any Balinese architectural elements. The solution to this problem is that the futsal arena should be designed in such a way that it will show the Balinese architectural values as specified in the regional regulation applicable in Bali to make it in harmony with the surrounding buildings in Singaraja. The design includes (1) the idea/background, (2) data collection and analysis and (3) design specification. The design also includes the Balinese architecture. In this way, the futsal area will look more harmonious with the surrounding buildings and will refer to the regional regulation applicable in Bali. It will show the concept of the Balinese architecture without reducing its function as the arena where people can go to play futsal.
