Bali as a world tourist destination can not be separated from the adverse impact of development. Flood. landslides, and other forms of disaster are indicators of environmental damage. But of the many siege of tourism development. There are still points where even a tourist object, the preservation of the environment is well preserved. These villages are Bali Aga villages which are generally located in northern Bali. The purpose of this research is to explore the conservation models conducted by the Bali Aga villagers to exist in the tourism sector but to maintain the environmental sustainability. It is expected that the models can be spread so that it can be used as an example by other villages in Bali to participate in preserving the environment. This research uses qualitative descriptive method with explorative and comparative study approach. Exploration is done on Bali Aga villages as follows: Tenganan, Bug-Bug, Penglipuran, Jullah, Sidatapa, and Bayung Gede. The focus to be studied is the tools or institutions used to manage the daily lives of citizens, and their implications for spatial, economic, and cultural. The model of each village was then compared to conclude the main methods that made the village sustainable both economically, environmentally and environmentally. The end of the study is expected to produce a sustainable village development model in Bali both economically, socially, and environmentally so that it can serve as an example for other villages. The result of this research shows that 2 villages of Penglipuran and Tenganan reach the balance of 3 pillars of sustainable development. This can be achieved because the implementation of local wisdom is integrated with the management of tourism. Obstacles in the implementation of other villages are: the absence of population control, the lack of pride of citizens on the uniqueness of the village, the formation of tourism management organizations outside the village manager and the birth that is not a top down idea, no architectural control. While the advantages of the 2 villages are: population control, environmental control and architecture, bottom up tourism management, integrated with custom village management. The proposed model for achieving the balance of the three pillars of sustainable development is the combination of the following steps: preservation of local culture, enhancing localized cultural sense for its citizens, environmental and architectural controls, population control, integrating tourism management in indigenous village management empowerment of local communities)
