Penerapan Bangunan Pasraman di Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali.

Design of Pasraman facilities is an initiative to accommodate non-formal education for children who have dropped out from the age of 13-19 years in Buleleng and surrounding areas. It is expected that pasraman can still develop in modern times without abandoning the traditional elements in it which specially educate the younger generation, both formally and nonformally, also introducing the culture that will be obtained in Pasraman education. This Pasraman will be established in Buleleng Regency, precisely on Jalan Raya Sangket, Sukasada district. Therefore, on the application of building design will apply the concepts and values of Tradiosional Balinese Architecture which combined by post-modern fasades and materials without leaving the tradisional elements. The facilities in this Pasraman consist of classrooms, training rooms, dormitories, yoga venues, and other facilities. The theme of this Pasraman is “Neo Vernacular”, which aims to create a tradisional atmosphere and still have a modern atmosphere that adapts to technology nowadays. Besides, this Pasraman is also expected to support educational activities by growing awareness of the importance of preserving the tradisional culture so it still exists.
