Representasi Sistem Sosial Masyarakat pada Pola Permukiman Desa Trunyan

Abstract For communal settlements as part ofbuilt environment is not only seen as physical form, but also a representation of different values owned by the community. The social system of community is one of component that expressed in settlement pattern, especially in a society still has a strong kinship. This study deals with settlement patterns at Trunyan village as one of the old village in Bali is situated on the shore of Lake Batur. Community settlement patterns laid out based on the concept luan teben that are local and community kinship system into one of the representation in the pattern of settlement. Pattern Trunyan settlement is a representation of the virilocal kinship system that marriages between members clan/dadia. Representation of the kinship system on settlement arranged by applying the concept of luan-teben and using multiple axes, namely axes kaja-kelod, kauh kangin axis, the axis of the inside-outside and on the bottom axis. These axes serve as a tool to adjust the layout of the building in the settlements Trunyan society both in a The research, it was found that the concept of spatial settlement of Trunyan people use the axis of kajakelod to determine the hiararkhi of the room.
