RELOKASI SASANA BUDAYA GIRI KUSUMA KABUPATEN BANGLI, BALI Penerapan Konsep Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular Bali pada Bangunan

ABSTRACT Bangli regency is one of the regencies in Bali province which has one of supporting facilities of performing arts in the form of a building area called "SasanaBudayaGiriKusuma". Currently, the condition of SasanaBudayaGiriKusuma is very apprehensive, where there is a number of damage at the construction of the main building,supporting buildings that are not functioning properly, lack of facilities, and the location which is less strategic. This situation resulted in SasanaBudayaGiriKusuma is not functioning properly as what has been planned in the previous development. Based on these problems and considering the importance function of this Building for the society especially in Bangli, the author plans to relocate the building to return and improve the function of the SasanaBudaya. Therefore, the author expected this relocate could be a good accommodate for a various kinds of arts or cultural activities especially in Bangli and generally in Bali. The look of the building uses the form of wantilan with Balinese architecture that gives a harmonious impression with Balinese culture. Keywords: SasanaBudaya, Relocation, Wantilan, Balinese architecture ABSTRAK Kabupaten Bangli adalah salah satu kabupaten di provinsi Bali yang memiliki salah satu fasilitas penunjang seni pertunjukan berupa sebuah gedung yang disebut dengan gedung “Sasana Budaya Giri Ku-suma”.KondisiSasanaBudayaGiriKusumasaatiniterlihatsangatmemprihatinkan, dimanabanyaknyakerusa-kankonstruksipadaGedungutama, kurangnyafasilitas, sertaletakSasanaBudaya yang kurangstrategis. Keadaan ini mengakibatkan Sasana Budaya Giri Kusuma tidak berfungsi dengan baik sebagai mana direncanakan pada pembangunan sebelumnya. Berdasarkanpermasalahantersebut, sertamengingatpen-tingnyafungsiGedunguntukmasyarakatBanglipadakhususya,penulis merencanakanuntukmerelokasi bangu-nanguna mengembalikan fungsi dari Sasana Budaya tersebut sehinga diharapkandapatmewadahiberbagai-macamaktivitassenibaik yang berada di KabupatenBanglidansekitarnya.Tampilanbangunanmempergunakanbentukwantilandenganarsitekturkhas Bali sehinggamenimbulkankesanaharmonisdengankebudayaan Bali.
