Penerapan Tema Neo Vernacular Pada Fasad Dan Interior Perancangan Pusat Pameran Kain Tenun Cag-cag Di Jembrana-Bali ABSTRACT Jembrana is one of the districts in Bali which is located in the west of Bali island. Jembrana is famous because it has the percussion music art called ‘jegog’ and ‘makepung’, also it has a woven fabric called cag-cag, however the cag-cag fabric is not well-known yet. This is caused by the deficient marketing effort of this product. Therefore, there is an idea to expand cag-cag fabric by constructing an exhibition building where the cag-cag fabric can be promoted widely with the theme Neo-Vernacular. It is expected introduce the woven fabric cag-cag into Balinese traditional architecture style which combined with modern elements. Balinese architecture are an architecture which is loaded by cultural concepts and philosophy, therefore it is very well-suited to build exhibition center bulding for woven fabric cag-cag display. To implement those concepts into the building view, it needs not only appliying materials related to the Balinese architecture, but also using high technology materials. Additionally, the cultural concepts and philosophy of the local wisdom are added into the design concept, as determining concept of the site and zone plotting. The floor plan of the exhibition building is determined based on civitas needs and its fuctions. The site plan is located in Negara sub-district, Sangkar Agung village and has 4.000 m2 area. Therefore, it is possible to receive a maximum circulation and to construct the building with the theme Neo-Vernacular. Keywords: Jembrana, Exhibition, Woven, Neo-Vernacular.
