Utilization of Hydropower as Renewable Energy to Enhance the Growth of River Fish at Dusun Pagi Desa Senganan Kecamatan Penebel District of Tabanan

A pico hydro turbine would able to rotate with a certain velocity, this rotation is hardly depend on the magnitude of water thrust on the turbine blade. The continuity of water stream that pounded the turbine blade would determine electrical energy produced. The limitation of water resources throughout the year in the dry season, due to uncontrolled deforestation and in turn it would bring flooding in rainy season. In this paper the author would like to study in developing a pico hydro turbine prototype,that can utilize water in the irrigation channels in the dry season efficiently.An adjustment on attack angle of turbine blades would able to produce maximum rotation (rpm). In this research by using turbine diameter of 40 cm, width 30 cm, number of blade 16, height 7 m , with curvature angle of blade ß 150, would produce rotation on turbine shaft about 130 rpm
