The Antibiotics Group of Aminoglycosides and Macrolides on Beef in Bali

Abstrak
The meat products marketed presence of antibiotic residues and there are dangers to consumers. It is important to do research on these issues. The aims of this study to determine the presence or absence of aminoglycoside and macrolide group antibiotics in Bali beef in some markets in Bali-Indonesia. This study used 60 samples of beef from 5 different markets (Negara, Tabanan, Denpasar, Singaraja, and Klungkung). Each market is taken 12 samples (100 grams/sample) from different sellers. Screening tests used to determine antibiotic residues in meat. The results showed that only three samples (5%) were positive containing antibiotics there were aminoglicosides 2 samples (3.34%) and macrolide 1 sample (1.66%).
