Hemolisis Eritrosit Babi Landrace Jantan yang Dipotong di Rumah Pemotongan Hewan Pesanggaran Denpasar

ABSTRACT The research on hemolysis erythrocyte male landrace pigs slaughtered in Rumah Pemotongan Hewan Pesanggaran Denpasar, to determine the point of fragility of erythrocytes (hemolysis early) and hemolysis total.This study used samples blood of 30 male landrace pig were collected at the time of cutting in Rumah Pemotongan Hewan Pesanggaran Denpasar, and the method used is the occurrence of hemolysis in the solution series of 0.9% - 0.3% NaCl. Results showed that the initial hemolysis occurs in the range of 0,65%-0,75% NaCl with average 0,70% NaCl and a standard deviation of ± 0,035, while the hemolysis total occurred in the span of 0,45%-0,55% NaCl, average 0,45% NaCl, and the standard deviation ± 0,031. It can be concluded that the results obtained from this study that male landrace pigs have initial hemolysis 0,70% and 0,45% of the total hemolysis. It is recommended to conduct further research to see what kind of sex, age, and origin of animals. Keywords: hemolysis erythrocyte, fragility, landrace pigs
