Sriathi Jurusan Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Udayana e-mail: mudiartha_utama@yahoo.com Abstract LEADERSHIP STYLE MEDIATE EFFECT OF INTELLIGENCE EMOTIONAL ON JOB SATISFACTION When employee expectations are not met resulting in employees experiencing emotional upheaval that sparked a desire to get out of work. As a result employees become uncooperative, do not respect each other, causing the worst effects of employees become frustrated and dissatisfied. This study aimed to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction; the effect of emotional intelligence on leadership style; the influence of leadership style on job satisfaction and the role leadership style in mediating the relationship between emotional intelligence on job satisfaction. To answer the purpose of the study, conducted a study of 75 contract employees. Data were collected by questionnaire and subsequent interviews were analyzed using regression and significance of mediating variables were analyzed by Sobel. The results of the study reveal the emotional intelligence and leadership style positive and significant impact on job satisfaction; Emotional intelligence and significant positive effect on leadership style; significant and proven leadership style partially mediate the effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction Keywords: Turnover intention, Emotional Intelligence; Leadership Style, Job Satisfaction
