Atraksi Wisata di Hotel Bintang dan kontribusinya terhadap masyarakat Lokal di Kawasan Pariwisata Kuta

Abstrak

ABSTRAK Atraksi wisata yang dipentaskan di hotel merupakan daya tarik bagi wisatawan yang menginap. Masyarakat local yang berasal dari sekitar bisa berperan dalam pengembangan budaya di hotel hotel dan tentunya aktivitas ini merupakan suatu kegiatan yang bisa menguntungkan atau mendapatkan pendapatan dari pementasan-pementasan atraksi wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis atraksi wisata yang dipentaskan dan kontribusi yang diperoleh masyarakat lokal dari atraksi wisata yang dipentaskan di hotel-hotel bintang di kawasan pariwisata Kuta . Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi hotel bintang di kawasan pariwisata Kuta, yang terkonsentrasi di bagian barat, sekitar objek wisata utama yaitu sepanjang pantai Kuta, pantai Legian, pantai Seminyak. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah proportional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 16 buah hotel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan mentabulasi data hasil penelitian . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hotel bintang di kawasan pariwisata Kuta lebih banyak menyajikan atraksi sosial budaya seperti tari tarian, gamelan Bali sebanyak 81%, pihak hotel juga mengkriteriakan yaitu bernuansa Bali 75%, penyedia jasa atraksi berasal dari masyarakat lokal bukan dari desa sekitar 56%, pementasan yang dilakukan 56% mengatakan seminggu sekali, tanggapan tamu terhadap pementasan rata rata puas sebesar 75%, cara meyebarluaskan informasi atraksi ini lebih banyak dengan media lainnya (selain brosur, pamplet, website) seperti spanduk atau banner 44%, dan setiap hotel sudah memiiki kerjasama atau kontrak tertulis dengan penyedia jasa atraksi wisata. Kontribusi yang didapatkan dari kerjasama hotel dengan masyarakat lokal seagai penyedia atraksi wisata adalah sebagai berikut; mendapatkan penghasilan atau kontribusi berupa uang sebagai imbalan, mendapatkan pekerjaan tambahan, kontribusi berupa pakaian, alat-alat, dan makanan, memberikan tempat di hotel secara gratis untuk melaksanakan atraksinya, kontribusi dalam pengembangan dan kemajuan atraksi berupa keterampilan berkesenian, dan membangun hubungan yang baik dengan pihak hotel di kawasan Kuta. Kata Kunci: Atraksi Wisata, kontribusi, masyarakat lokal, hotel bintang ABSTRACT Tourist attarctions performed in hotels are becoming attractions for visitors who are staying in those hotels. Local communities living around the hotels can perform in the hotels and get benefits from these activities. Aims of this reseach was to find out tourist attractions performed in star rated hotels around Kuta Tourist Resort, Bali and benefits out of these activities. This research was carried out on star rated hotels in Kuta Tourist Resort, the hotels of which were concentrated on the western part of the tourist resort,ie. along Kuta beach, Legian Beach, and Seminyak beach. Data were collected directly on site (primary data collection) or based on litterature review. Data were collected through utilising proportional random sampling. Fifteen hotels were chosen as samples. Data were tabulated on tables and qualitatively analysed and described. Star rated hotels in Kuta Tourist Resort performed more socio culture performances, such as dancing and Balinese gamelan performances (85%) than other attractions (nature, shopping and mice, and education). Criteria of tourist attractions were 75% having the sense or theme of Bali. Fifty six (56) % of tourist attractions were provided by the Balinese but not from the local community, while the rest (44%) were provided by the local Balinese community. As many as 56% of performance were provided weekly. About 75% of tourists were happy with the performances. Information on the performance were most (44%) provided through other media than brocure, web site and pamphlet (such as banner). Every hotel has had a written contract or an agreement with their providers. Contributions from hotels to the local community dealing with their roles as providers of attractions, such as providing income or money, providing jobs, providing clothes for performers, tools for performing, foods, providing free spots for performances, and providing inputs for improvements of the performances. In additions, the relationship between the hotels and community has been tighten because of the role of community in providing attractions in the hotels.
