Tanah lot has a long history in terms of its management whereas it was initially managed by private sector and local goverment. Nowdays the local society that is beraban society has involve in its management. The process of empowering local society has focus on social economic in management of Tanah Lot. This empowerment has increase the welfare and social life of society arounds Tanah Lot there for the awarness and ownership of Beraban society must be maintained for the sustainability of Tanah Lot as a special tourist atraction in Bali and Tabanan particularly. The research method occurs by descriptif qualitative in purpose to describe and summarize in many condition and situation or social phenomenom in Beraban society that has direct involve in Tanah Lot management.
