Potensi Ikan Air Tawar di Danau Batur sebagai Pengembangan Wisata Alternatif

Bali is the common destination for foreign traveller as well as domestic traveller. The problem that often arises is the inequality of economic development of tourism. Bangli District’s PAD is lowest in Bali and they need to explore their potential. Batur Lake’s fish are potentially as an alternative tourism. The purpose of this research is to analyze the public perception related to Batur Lake’s Fishery as an alternative tourism development. In order to achieve the purpose of this research, sampling is done by 100 respondents. There are two variables which divided into two parts: physical and non-physical. Perception index is used in analysing data. Based on the analysing result, there is one conclusion that the public perception related to Batur Lake’s Fishery as an alternative tourism development is as good as what they expected, physicaly and non-physicaly. The potential of Batur Lake’s fishery are supported by the community. There are work ethic variable’s has the highest perception index, and location variabel’s have the lowest perception index.
