Abstrak

Bedulu village as one of the newly developed tourist villages is an example of the empowerment of local communities to introduce Balinese culture to tourists and to improve their standard of living as by product. The purpose of this study is to analysis the feasibility of developing a tourism village at bedulu village in Gianyar regency by analysing aspects of markets and marketing, legal, technical and operational, human resources, economic and financial. Bedulu Tourism Village has a potential market with number of visits of 213 people in August-December 2011 consisting of : tourist from France (83,10%), Netherlands (1,41%), Australia (0.94%), Japan (0,94%) and domestic tourists (13,62%). Through analysis of three competitors it can be seen that Bedulu Village has an independent website and competitive price among all of them. Marketing strategies undertaken include determination of the location strategy of pricing. Strategy with the method of cost plus pricing and product growth strategies in which the services of quality product better or different from other tourist villages, promotion through the website, the offensive strategy is a strategy which is focused on change efforts to achieve a better level and training of human resources Key words: tourism village potential, strategies, feasibility analysis
