Abstrak
The Study of Land Resources Potential at Manggis District, Karangasem Regency for Development of Horticulture Crops. The objective of the research was to know the potensials of land resources at Manggis District, Karangasem Regency for growing horticulture crops. Soil survey methods and laboratory analysis were used in this research. The parameters of soil characteristics were observed i.e. soil morphology in the fields, physical and chemical properties. Land suitability was done based on crops growth criteria by using Book of Land Suitability for agricultutre commodity (Djaenudin et al. , 2000). The result of research showed that the lands of Manggis District classified into land suitability class very suitable (S1) until suitable enough (S2) for horticulture crops growing.
