ABSTRACT Social forestry at Aik Bual village is one form of sustainable forestry management programs involving community in forest conservation activities. Social forestry programs at this village have been implemented by synergizing ecological, economic and social functions with the aim at ensuring sustainable forest preservation. This study aims to determine factors influencing the sustainability of social forestry (Case Study at Bual Forest Farmer Community at Aik Bual Village, Sub-district of Kopang,Central Lombok Ragency). The research method uses quantitative descriptive with samples taken in proportional random sampling as many as 73 respondents and data was analyzed using quantitative statistical techniques Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with the help of smart PLS software. This analysis aims to identify technical, social and economic factors affecting the sustainability of social forestry at Aik Bual Village. The results of analysis show economic factor has the greatest influence on the sustainability of social forestry with the value is 0.474, social factors has the second impact with a value is 0.326 and technical factors is the least influential factor on the sustainability of social forestry at Aik Bual Village with a value of 0.177. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (R 2 ) of these factors is 0.842 which means that variations in these factors can explain the sustainability of social forestry by 84.2%. Based on the results of this analysis it can be concluded that the three factors, namely economic, social and teknical factors are able to have a significant influence on the sustainability of social forestry at Bual Forest Farmers community, at Aik Bual Village.
