SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI SUPERKONDUKTOR SISTEM BPSCCO FASE 1212 (Bi0,4Pb0,35)Sr2(Y1-xCax)Cu2,05Oz

Abstrak

It has been synthesized superconductor Bi-1212 phase by conventional solid state reaction method with nominal composition of (Bi0.4Pb0.35)Sr2(Y1-xCax)Cu2.05. The contents of Ca under studied were varied of x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5. It is found that the highest volume fraction is about 80.95 %, is shown by x = 0.3. The resistivity measurement as a function of temperature from 77 K to 175 K for all samples did not show any critical temperature Tc. It is reveals that the sample did not super-conducting for the temperature down to 77 K. This result shows that the oxygen content of the Bi-1212 phase is not optimal. The EDX analysis reveals that the ratio of Bi, Pb, Sr, Y, Ca, and Cu elements were closely to the composition of the 1212 phase.
